I have added HQ bluray 1080p captures of Keira Knightley from Anna Karenina. I don’t really know how I feel about this movie, I was expecting it to be a bit different and there was certain things about it that I wasn’t overly all fond of but I won’t go into details and spoil it for those who haven’t seen it yet.

Finally, today January 10th, the 2013 Oscar Nominations were announced and Anna Karenina has been nominated for 4 awards. Disappointingly so, Keira was not nominated.
Here are the awards that Anna Karenina are up for:
Cinematography — Anna Karenina

Production Design — Anna Karenina
Director Joe Wright’s vision for the Leo Tolstoy classic “Anna Karenina” has been called “bold,” “daring” and “ambitious” — words that could also be used to describe the effect the director and his leading lady, Keira Knightley, have on each other.
“Keira is quite fearless, and she encourages me to go to places I wouldn’t necessarily be brave enough to go to myself,” says Wright, who proceeded with the film only after Knightley, whom he’d directed to an Oscar nomination in 2005′s “Pride and Prejudice,” had agreed to take on the lead role.
Still, his gutsy new vision for the Tolstoy classic — it’s set mostly on the premises of a decaying theater, including a horse race scene that thunders across a proscenium stage — was a surprise he dropped on the actress a mere 10 weeks ahead of filming.
“He said, ‘Come around to my office. I need to explain something to you,’” remembers Knightley, seated recently beside Wright over tea at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. “I went in and it was covered with drawings of this old stage, and I went, ‘Oh …”
“You said it was going to polarize people, and they’re going to love it or hate it,” says Wright.
“But it was so ballsy that I was really impressed,” says Knightley. “And I said, ‘Yeah, go on then. Polarizing people is good.’”

Granted, after a century of adaptations, we have a right to be tired of Tolstoy’s Russian society wife, Anna Karenina (Keira Knightley), who ditches her life for playboy Vronsky (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). But surely there’s room in our hard, literary hearts for a film this audacious?
To emphasize the artifice of Anna’s world, director Joe Wright and writer Tom Stoppard set much of the film onstage, the actors gliding as if choreographed. It’s like a musical, minus the singing.
The gimmick – and at bottom, that’s what it is – makes Anna’s stiff husband, Karenin (a fantastic Jude Law), more relatable, even as it blunts the emotional impact of Knightley’s fine turn.
But perhaps the best thing about this Anna is that it plays up the novel’s other couple, Kitty (Alicia Vikander) and Levin (Domhnall Gleeson). They’re the true romantics.
Keira Knightley stars in this Fall’s Anna Karenina, director Joe Wright’s adaptation of the famous novel, and PopSugar sat down with Knightley recently to talk about playing one of literature’s most famous characters. Knightley talked about how tricky it was to play a character who’s not completely sympathetic and how playing another fictional character — Elizabeth Bennet — was far more daunting than playing Anna. Knightley also talked about the beautiful costumes and the extremely difficult dance scenes.
I have added HQ bluray captures of Keira Knightley from Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. Also tones of dvd extras were added too. Next up to cap in the same HQ resolution is Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (my favorite of the potc franchise!).
